Boone County Commissioners, Council to Hold Special Meeting  and Hearing on Witham-Parkview Affiliation

(LEBANON, IN – Monday, September 14, 2026) The Boone County Board of Commissioners and Boone County Council will hold a special meeting and public hearing Wednesday, September 16, to meet with the Witham Health Services Executive Board and consider moving forward with the proposed affiliation agreement between Witham Health Services and Parkview Health.

The special meeting and hearing will begin at 12 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2026, in the Jack Jones Community Room at Witham Hospital, 2705 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon, Indiana.

The meeting represents another step in the review and approval process for the proposed affiliation. The agreement will require approval from the Boone County Commissioners, Boone County Council and Witham Health Services Board of Trustees.

Boone County and Witham previously announced their commitment to a thoughtful and transparent review of the proposed affiliation. County officials have emphasized the importance of ensuring Boone County residents continue to have access to high-quality, locally accessible healthcare while positioning Witham for long-term success.

No final decision regarding the affiliation has been announced.
