AJet launches direct flights from Istanbul to Beirut

(MENAFN) According to recent announcements, Türkiye’s budget airline AJet has begun operating nonstop flights from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. The inaugural trip took place on Tuesday and was greeted with a welcoming ceremony upon landing at Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport.

AJet, which had already been offering service to Beirut from Ankara and Adana, is now expanding its schedule with daily round-trip flights originating in Istanbul. This addition strengthens the carrier’s steadily growing route map across Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa.

The newly launched service is expected to support increased travel and commercial exchange between Türkiye and Lebanon, further enhancing ties between the two countries.
